Quick-drying, special-purpose polyurethane enamel.

Purpose:

Intended for ferrous metal surfaces, can also be used on some non-ferrous metals (e.g. galvanized steel after conditioning), as well as on wood and similar surfaces.

Used for painting industrial metal structures, equipment, agricultural, road and other machinery, containers, fences, gutters, gates, vehicle tools and other surfaces intended for work in atmospheric, vibration and impact load conditions outdoors.

6 hours (dust-proof – 2 hours), the next coat can be applied after 12 hours, but this time increases significantly with decreasing temperature, increasing humidity and especially with layer thickness.

Coating system, consisting of 1 layer of EXPRESS Kompozit ® primer and 2 layers of ELIT Kompozit ® polyurethane enamel, with a total dry film thickness of at least 160 microns, preservation of protective properties on the steel surface with abrasive blast cleaning during corrosion tests according to DSTU ISO 12944-6 for durability class H (15–25 years) in conditions of corrosion aggressiveness category C3 and for class M (7–15 years) in conditions of C4.

Resistance to solar radiation and weathering:

Excellent color and gloss stability, also in industrial environments.

Wear resistance and wash resistance:

Excellent when using common non-abrasive detergents.

Chemical resistance: Resistant to some solvents, such as gasoline, white spirit, alcohol. Resistant to vegetable and animal fats and lubricants.

Storage:

Store and transport in manufacturer’s hermetically sealed containers at temperatures from -20 to +30 °C, out of reach of children. Protect from fire, heat, direct sunlight and moisture.

Warranty period is 24 months from the date of manufacture.

0.6 lit, 2.5 liters; 9 liters.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

The surface to be painted must be dry. The temperature of the surface, enamel and air must be above +5 ºС and at least 3 ºС higher than the dew point, the relative humidity of the air must be less than 80%. WARNING! Drying under these limiting conditions is much slower than under the optimal conditions specified in the specification. It is necessary to complete the painting so that the enamel surface has time to dry “from dust”, before the dew falls. When painting external surfaces, wind and direct sunlight should be avoided.

Surface preparation:

New surface:

Clean the surface from dirt, dust, rust and other contaminants. If necessary, treat metal surfaces with Rust Converter according to the instructions for use. Degrease (it is recommended to use an organic solvent). Clean metal surfaces in dry rooms can be painted without prior priming. In other cases, protect with EXPRESS, GF-021 Kompozit ® or ANTIKOR anti-corrosion primer according to the instructions for use.

Previously painted surface:

Wash the contaminated surface with a diluted alkaline detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry. Remove flaking coatings with a scraper, if necessary, use an abrasive blasting machine, industrial hair dryer or Old Paint Remover according to the instructions for use. Thoroughly degrease and dry the surface.

Painting:

Stir the enamel thoroughly before use. If necessary, pre-dilute with Organic Solvent. If a thin film has formed under the lid during storage of the product, it should be carefully cut along the edge of the can and removed. When painting wood, fiberboard and chipboard, it is recommended to apply a primer with enamel diluted by 20%. Apply with a brush, roller or sprayer in 1-2 even, thin layers (the next layer can be applied only after the previous one has completely dried).
