Special purpose alkyd protective primer with anti-corrosion properties for metal surfaces. It is characterized by high hardness and excellent adhesion to the surface. Protects the surface from corrosion, creates a reliable and stable base for further painting, impermeable to water, salts and grease.

For priming ferrous metal surfaces before painting with alkyd and water dispersion enamels. It is also allowed to apply on new wooden surfaces and surfaces previously painted with alkyd enamels.
Used for metal structures, fences, drainage pipes, metal furniture and doors, work tools, etc. for priming or temporary protection. It can be applied to surfaces indoors and exposed to the atmosphere (exterior works), especially wet rooms.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Coverage rate: surface, m²/kg 8-10.

Solvent: Kompozit® Organic solvent can be diluted up to 10%.

Application method: Apply by brush, roller, spraying, dipping or pouring.

Drying time: At +20 °C and relative air humidity of 50% -16 hours, this time increases significantly with decreasing temperature, increasing humidity and especially with increasing layer thickness.

Color: 4 ready-made colors (white, light gray, maroon, black).

Gloss: below 60 ⁰, GUDSTU ISO 2813 – 6 (matt).
Volume fraction: non-volatile substances, % DSTU ISO 3233-3 – 60.

Density, kg/l, DSTU ISO 2811-1 – Bl 1.4.

Atmospheric stability: Limited, can be used as an independent covering for up to 6 months.
Chemical resistance: Resistant to some solvents, such as gasoline, white spirit, alcohol. Resists vegetable and animal fats, lubricating greases and consistency greases.

Storage: Store and transport in the manufacturer’s hermetic container at a temperature from -20 to +30 °C, out of the reach of children. Protect from moisture, heating devices and direct sunlight.
