Characteristics: Fast-drying urethane alkyd varnish for new and pre-painted, varnished wood, cork, and other surfaces exposed to heavy atmospheric, water and friction effects. Semi-glossy. Also suitable for metal and ceramic products.

SURFACE PREPARATION: To avoid color differences, remove all partially peeled old coatings down to the wood, sand, remove dust and dirt.

USE: before applying the varnish, it must be thoroughly mixed, avoiding shaking. Varnish is applied with a brush, a special spatula, spraying or dipping in 2-3 equal, thin layers, thoroughly drying each layer. To apply a primer layer on the surfaces of new wood, it is recommended to dilute the varnish with an organic solvent (up to 20%). Before applying the next layer of varnish, it is recommended to lightly sand the surface of the transparent varnish. When applying tinted varnish, increasing the number of layers leads to a gradual increase in color intensity; to protect against uneven wear, it is recommended to apply a top coat of clear varnish.

Drying time at +20°C and 50% relative humidity: dust-proof – 2 hours, non-sticky – 4 hours. Thorough sanding and application of the next layer is possible in about 8 hours, full drying – in 24 hours, this time increases significantly with a decrease in temperature, an increase in humidity and especially with the thickness of the layer.

Surface coverage norm (consumption) in 1 layer: 10 – 14 m2/l, depending on the application method, processing quality and surface porosity.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SAFETY: store and transport in the original sealed package at a temperature from -20 to +30 °С, in dry places, away from children, fire, heat and direct sunlight. Effective ventilation is essential. Use personal protective clothing and rubber gloves, use a respirator when spraying. Clean wet work tools of the remaining varnish and wash with an organic solvent. Containers and dry product residues are used as construction debris.
