EPOXY PAINT is a modern two-component paint designed for the protection and decoration of interior surfaces.
EPOXY PAINT consists of two components: A and B, which, when mixed and applied
to a surface, form a durable, stain-resistant, and damage-resistant coating
with excellent adhesion to the substrate. It features high hardness, resistance to
scrubbing, and mechanical damage. The paint provides chemical resistance to
the substrate. It is recommended for protecting floors in areas with heavy mechanical
load, including pedestrian traffic, vehicle paths, and forklift traffic (vehicles
with rubber tires), such as basements, garages, corridors, parking lots, halls,
warehouses, technical rooms, and all high-traffic areas.
Due to its vapor permeability properties,
EPOXY PAINT is also suitable for protective
and decorative painting of walls and ceilings in areas with increased humidity.
INTENDED USE
Applicable on surfaces types: concrete, self-leveling screeds, plaster, other substrates
(floors and walls) subject to mechanical damage, difficult-to-remove
stains, or dampness.
Recommended for:
• Utility rooms, garages, and basements
• Industrial and public utility facilities
• Private buildings
• Commercial and warehouse spaces
• Service workshops
• Corridors, stairs, halls, and other high-traffic areas
NOTE: For indoor use only.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
› The surface to be painted must be sufficiently cured, degreased, clean, and dry; all dirt, grease stains, deposits, and efflorescence must be removed.
› Mechanically smoothed concrete and smooth, dense surfaces must be roughened to ensure proper coating adhesion.
› For renovation painting, remove old coatings, fill damaged areas, remove any remaining impregnating agents, then sand the surface and thoroughly remove all dust.
› Prime highly absorbent surfaces with the EPOXY PAINT, diluted with 20% water.
APPLICATION:
› Immediately before painting, add component B to component A and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. After mixing components A and B, let the paint stand for 5 minutes, then mix again and use within 2 hours. › Apply the first coat using a roller or brush suitable for epoxy paints and allow it to dry—the curing time is approximately 12 hours.
› Just before applying the second coat, add component B to component A and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. After mixing components A and B, let the paint sit for 5 minutes, then mix again and use within 2 hours.
› Apply the second coat using a roller or brush suitable for epoxy paints and allow it to dry—the curing time is approximately 12 hours.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
› Use personal protective equipment when mixing and applying the paint.
› Optimal application conditions: temperature between +10°C and +30°C and relative humidity below 70%.
› Initial surface protection is achieved after 72 hours. Full coating durability is reached after 7 days.
› Wash tools with water and detergent immediately after painting.
CONSUMPTION:
› Up to 6 m²/kg, depending on the substrate’s absorbency and type, as well as the application method. Consumption is indicated for a single coat.
NUMBER OF COATS:
› 2 to 3 coats, depending on the substrate type and the desired result.
