Lyster Woodstain Colorex solvent-based stain

A deep-acting alkyd-based stain for wooden surfaces, exteriors.

Product application
The surface to be treated must be clean, dry and solid. Use a wire brush and/or sandpaper. Remove all loose, porous or split wood and wood fibres. Wash any previously painted surface with a mould and algae remover and rinse with water.
If mould is present on the surface, it must be treated appropriately to prevent mould from recurring.
Use any brush suitable for applying oil or wood stain. Apply to 2 or 3 boards at a time.
Lyster is usually applied in 2 coats. It is better to apply many thin coats than a few thick coats. Remember that the shade will be darker the more coats you apply to the wood stain.
Take special care with joints and end pieces.
