How to make the walls more interesting with the help of paint and various tools?

This will provide a small relief, as well as an interesting stripe coating. A bristle broom or a sharp brush can be used for this purpose.

To obtain an uneven coating, paint the base shade and then dip into different color a porous sponge that is lightly pressed onto the coating. For example, gold color can be used in this technique, which will create a more interesting texture and color reflection. Note that it is better to choose a lighter color for the top layer so that the background is not suppressed. A similar effect can be created with a larger brush, but a more uneven coating can be obtained by twisting a cloth, dipping it in color and pressing it against the wall to press the texture.

Also, the wall covering of geometric patterns does not need wallpaper at all, only several cans of paint, adhesive tape and brushes are needed. Divide the walls into geometric shapes with adhesive tape and then paint each area separately with paint and brush.

Not only geometric patterns, any template will give a tasteful end result, it can, for example, create floral patterns and other motifs, and not even all over the wall, even if only in some places.

Interesting coloring can also be obtained with various stencils. From the thicker cardboard, cut out the shape you want to paint on the wall, such as a pump pattern or floral motif, cut out the stencil with a paper knife, and then glue it to the wall so you can paint and mark the shapes. True, gluing, removing and reattaching the stencil to the wall is relatively tedious, and you have to look at the joints to match, but sometimes the end result justifies the effort.

In shops you can buy special foil plates in gold and silver color, which can also be used for wall. You can apply this foil on top of an already painted wall, then carefully peel off and smooth the loose layer of foil with a dry brush. Then the surface should be covered with a special paint or varnish so that the foil does not peel off over time, but this result will look very elegant.
