ANTI-SLIP VARNISH FOR WOODEN FLOORS AND STAIRS<\/strong> is an advanced two-component product based on water-based polyurethane resins, designed for the protection and decoration of wooden surfaces. Its non-slip properties reduce the risk of slipping, making it ideal for use on stairs and other heavily used wooden surfaces. The varnish coating is resistant to abrasion, dirt and moisture, which ensures long-term protection of the wood. Resistance to yellowing and UV radiation ensures color stability and aesthetic appearance for a long time. It is ideal for floors, parquet, stairs and other wooden surfaces. Additional benefits associated with slip protection include increased user safety, especially in areas exposed to moisture, such as kitchens, bathrooms or terraces. It can be used both for painting new surfaces and for renovating existing surfaces. In addition, it can be used in conjunction with a finishing varnish as an additional finishing layer, providing even greater durability and anti-slip protection.<\/p>\n

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a The surface to be painted must be dry, clean, degreased and sanded with sandpaper, and then cleaned of dust.
\n\u203a Wash off greasy or resin-treated areas.
\n\u203a Untreated wood (moisture max. 15%) and primed with a suitable primer.
\n\u203a When painting renovations, remove old, flaking coatings from untreated wood, fill all cavities and cracks with a suitable filler and sand thoroughly with sandpaper after drying.
\n\u203a To ensure proper adhesion of the varnish, before applying the next layer, the surface must be sanded with fine-grained sandpaper and then cleaned of dust.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Immediately before painting, add component B to component A, mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Note: use the finished varnish (mixed component A+B) within 2 hours.
\n\u203a Apply the first coat of varnish to the previously prepared surface with a varnish roller, carefully smoothing it until an even layer is obtained, and wait for the coating to dry.
\n\u203a The drying (hardening) time of the coating is approximately 8 hours and depends on the conditions at the place of application of the product (temperature and humidity).
\n\u203a After the first coat has dried, apply the next coat of varnish in the same way. Note: apply the next coat from the prepared new portion of varnish (A+B component).
\n\u203a It is recommended to apply the third coat of varnish on surfaces that are particularly exposed to water and weather conditions<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:<\/p>\n

\u203a Use personal protective equipment when mixing and applying the paint.
\n\u203a Do not dilute both components A and B.
\n\u203a Optimal application conditions: temperature from +10\u00b0C to +30\u00b0C and relative humidity below 70%.
\n\u203a Initial mechanical strength of the coating after 24 hours. The overall mechanical and chemical resistance of the coating is after 7 days, until then the painted surface must not be cleaned, protected from water, dirt and mechanical damage.
\n\u203a For the care of the painted surface, use mild detergents. Do not use rough sponges.
\n\u203a Wash tools with water and detergent immediately after painting.
\n\u203a After mixing components A and B, the volume may expand strongly. Do not store in a closed container.<\/p>\n

CONSUMPTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Up to 12 m\u00b2\/l, depending on the type of substrate and application method, indicated for one layer.<\/p>\n

\u203a 2 to 3 layers, depending on the type of substrate and the desired effect.<\/p>\n
