YACHT POLYURETHANE VARNISH<\/strong> is a two-component product based on water-based polyurethane resins, creates a durable coating that is both mechanically and chemically resistant, and provides effective protection against moisture and dirt. Perfectly combines protective and decorative functions, making it ideal for varnishing various wooden surfaces and wooden materials, such as yacht wooden fittings, gazebos, fences, railings, window frames, panels, furniture, etc., creates a durable coating that is resistant to wear and dirt, and protects the wood against biocorrosion and UV radiation, effectively protects the wood from moisture, including even salt water, which is especially important when used in yacht elements. Suitable for both indoors and outdoors, can be used for painting new surfaces and restoring existing surfaces, perfectly highlights the natural grain of the wood, giving it an aesthetic appearance. In addition, it can be used in conjunction with colored wood stain products as an additional finishing layer, providing even greater protection and durability.<\/p>\n

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a The surface to be painted must be dry, clean, degreased and matt with sandpaper, and then cleaned of dust.<\/p>\n

\u203a Wash off greasy or resin-treated areas with extraction benzine or organic solvent.<\/p>\n

\u203a Untreated wood (moisture max. 15%) and primed with a suitable primer.<\/p>\n

\u203a During renovation painting, remove old, flaking coatings down to the untreated wood, fill all cavities and cracks with a suitable filler and sand thoroughly with sandpaper after drying.<\/p>\n

\u203a To ensure proper adhesion of the varnish, the surface must be sanded with fine-grained sandpaper and then dusted.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Immediately before painting, add component B to component A, mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Note: use the finished varnish (mixed components A+B) within 2 hours.
\n\u203a Apply the first coat of varnish on the previously prepared surface with a varnish roller, carefully smoothing until an even layer is obtained, and wait for the coating to dry.
\n\u203a The drying (hardening) time of the coating is approximately 8 hours and depends on the conditions at the place of application of the product (temperature and humidity).
\n\u203a After the first coat has dried, apply the next coat of varnish in the same way.<\/p>\n

Note: apply the next coat from the prepared new portion of varnish (component A+B).
\n\u203a It is recommended to apply the third coat of varnish on surfaces that are particularly exposed to water and weather.<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Use personal protective equipment when mixing and applying the paint.
\n\u203a Do not dilute both components A and B.
\n\u203a Optimal application conditions: temperature from +10\u00b0C to +30\u00b0C and relative humidity below 70%.
\n\u203a Initial mechanical strength of the coating after 24 hours. Total mechanical and chemical strength of the coating after 7 days, until then the painted surface must not be cleaned, protected from water, dirt and mechanical damage.
\n\u203a Mild detergents should be used to care for the painted surface. Do not use rough sponges.
\n\u203a Wash tools with water and detergent immediately after painting.
\n\u203a After mixing components A and B, the can may burst open violently. Do not store in a closed container.<\/p>\n

CONSUMPTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Up to 12 m\u00b2\/l, depending on the type of substrate and application method. Efficiency is indicated for one layer.<\/p>\n

NUMBER OF LAYERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a 2 to 3 layers, depending on the type of substrate and the desired effect.<\/p>\n

SHELF LIFE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a 60 months from date of manufacture.<\/p>\n

After mixing components A and B, use within 2 hours.<\/p>\n
