ANTI-SLIP VARNISH FOR CONCRETE AND MICROCEMENT<\/strong> is an advanced, one-component, water-based, isocyanate-free product that protects and decorates concrete surfaces. It has excellent adhesion to concrete and forms a durable, wear-resistant coating. It provides effective protection against moisture and dirt, does not turn yellow and is resistant to UV radiation. The product is intended for indoor and outdoor use, ideal for protecting floor and stair surfaces. It can be used on various surfaces, such as concrete, stone, microcement, resin and mineral floors, as well as epoxy and polyurethane resin surfaces and cement with high and low porosity. Thanks to its anti-slip properties, the risk of slipping is significantly reduced, which is especially important in areas with intense traffic and areas exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms, kitchens, stairs or corridors.<\/p>\n

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a The surface to be painted must be sanded, degreased, clean and dry; It is absolutely necessary to remove all dirt, greasy stains, stains and efflorescence.
\n\u203a Mechanically filled concrete and smooth, compact surfaces must be roughened to ensure proper adhesion of the coating.
\n\u203a To reduce absorbency, the substrate must be primed with GRUNT primer.<\/p>\n

\u203a To ensure proper adhesion of the varnish, the dried surface must be sanded with fine-grained sandpaper and then dusted before applying the next layer.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Stir the product thoroughly immediately before painting. Do not dilute.<\/p>\n

\u203a Apply the first coat of varnish to the previously prepared surface with a varnish roller, carefully smoothing until an even layer is obtained, and wait until the coating dries.<\/p>\n

\u203a After the first coat has dried, apply a second coat of varnish in the same way until the desired effect is achieved.<\/p>\n

\u203a Surfaces that are particularly exposed to friction should be coated with three coats of varnish.<\/p>\n

\u203a The drying time of the coating is approximately 2 hours and depends on the conditions at the place of application of the product (temperature and humidity).<\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Optimal application conditions: temperature from +10\u00b0C to +30\u00b0C and relative humidity below 70%.<\/p>\n

\u203a Initial surface protection 24 hours. The coating is fully resistant after 7 days, until then the painted surface must not be cleaned, protected from water, dirt and mechanical damage.<\/p>\n

\u203a Mild detergents should be used to care for the painted surface. Do not use rough sponges.<\/p>\n

\u203a Wash tools with water and detergent immediately after painting.<\/p>\n

CONSUMPTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u203a Up to 12 m\u00b2\/l, depending on the type of substrate and application method, indicated for one layer.<\/p>\n
