In this technique, the paint should be applied sloppily, applying the brush in different directions. The more unevenly the brush will be covered, the more interesting textured painting will be achieved.<\/p>

After the paint has dried, in this case it is already after a few minutes, at most after an hour, the surface should be covered with wax. In this sense, you can choose two types of wax – dark or light. If the dark one is used, then the relief will be highlighted and the strokes created by the brush will be colored, but with the light one, the surface will not change color, it will only be made a little more shiny, but it will not be shiny like varnish either.<\/p>

This is a very interesting painting technique, which is certainly desired by not one, looking at interesting ideas with repainting old furniture. In the two-color technique, the surface must first be painted with one color, in this case the lightest color is used, but you can experiment with it and use even two bright colors – the choices are up to everyone. In order to get a more interesting texture on the surface, immediately on top of the newly applied paint, which is also covered sloppily in different directions, we sprinkle fine chips and let them harden.<\/p>

After the layer has dried, a second layer of paint must be applied, but this must be thinner. To achieve this, the brush is first dipped in water. I use gray-blue paint, which is applied thinly, this time in one direction, over the entire surface. By the way, for applying the second color, the specialist recommends using a thinner brush designed for smooth surfaces.<\/p>

When the thin layer is completely dry, cover the surface with the transparent wax very slightly, and then wipe the surface with a dry cloth. This painting technique, which might seem like a mission impossible at first, is actually easy to do, but the end result creates a child-like excitement. Yes, that was exactly my reaction when the interesting texture appeared on the surface, which was originally a very simple wooden plank.<\/p>

In this technology, the paint must be applied in a thicker layer than usual, because only then will cracks appear. But that’s not all, because it’s not the thickness of the paint that causes the cracks, but the use of the hair dryer. So, as soon as the paint is applied, the surface should be dried with a hair dryer as close as possible with the hottest mode. After a few minutes, the resulting cracks will be noticeable, but the effect becomes the most tasteful only after applying the wax. The main thing is to carry out the drying process long enough and when, after drying and cooling the surface, it does not seem cold or wet when you put your hand on it, it is completely dry.<\/p>

In this case, dark wax should be used, and in a much larger quantity. If you apply the dark wax to the surface using a smooth cotton cloth and wipe it off immediately, you will see how the wax will darken the surface in the crevices. If desired, the wax can be reapplied, thus highlighting each crack that has formed even more.<\/p>

Grinding is also an indispensable step in this method, because it is with the help of sandpaper that an even more tasteful effect can be achieved. After sanding, the surface should be wiped clean of dust and then re-coated with the transparent wax. By the way, if you have achieved a too dark surface with the dark wax and you would like to make it lighter, you can smear the light wax over it and the color will immediately become lighter.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Whichever painting method is used, it is important to ensure that the surface is dry.<\/p>

Untreated softwood surfaces, where the branches are visible, must be protected with varnish, because the resin will be released from these areas all the time, so in order for the surface not to change its appearance, it must be varnished beforehand.<\/p>

Whenever wax is applied, it should also be wiped with a dry cloth immediately afterwards to remove any excess, and the surface will only absorb as much wax as needed.<\/p>

It is best to always wash brushes with warm soapy water. Dishwashing detergent can also help remove paint stains.<\/p>

Surfaces treated with wax must be protected from moisture and heat. If the treated area is in such conditions, then varnish will be a more suitable protective layer.<\/p>
